Why do you love your F30?

Hey guys I'm new... I just got my first BMW. WOW!!!! My last car was a 2005 ford focus. I can't see any need for anything more than this car period. For people that haven't driven one this 4 banger is a real sleeper. I just wish we had a place I could get it over 160Kph in Barrie Ontario. The onramp is to short for the Little 2L

This is the perfect car for the middle class man or woman that wants to fill the needs of life and have a little fun.

The F30 reminds me of my E34/E39 days as the 3's have grown in size but its just about right.

Performance; as a daily driver, the I6 with 8AT is exquisite. With a few modifications, it's divine.

Practicality; it's a four door with a backseat that accommodates my 2 year old twins. I love being able to bring my boys along in the "fun car", rather than having to switch to the "family truckster" (wife's suburban).

Image; it represents a certain level of achievement without being ostentatious or gaudy.

I mean your car looks great also but I couldn't decide if they were gas pumps or not haha! But awesome car nonetheless. Where in Naples are you/is that?

it is THE ultimate 'street sleeper', IMHO. Low 13's in standing 1/4 mile? showroom stock. In a 4 door family sedan? superb handling, and great fuel economy, IF I can keep my foot out of it. comfort access, heads up display; truly a pleasure to drive.

Because it's, all around, the best car I've ever owned. It's balanced and quick, pretty and relatively comfie. I want more when the lease is up...more options and the six cylinder, but this one, for now, is the best daily drive I've gotten to enjoy. So far.

I love mine (F30 328) because it offers the perfect balance between a comfortable, luxurious daily driver and a fast car (with the JB stage 1

Because of the drive ability of my diesel is far better than anything VW offered, plus can't beat 48mpg at 80mph

Its exactly like my car but I "settled" for a 2011-

I saved about 10K over buying a used 2014 version of your F30-

Im regretting it now, and want a F30 or a truck- yes big difference..I listed my E90 335Xdrive msport with 13500 miles. We will see which way I go but I just like the F30 more instide and out.

Love the confidence inspiring road holding ability. Pretty much why everyone who doesn't own a BMW thinks Bimmer drivers are assholes.

You actually have a very good point. Before I owned one, every time I'd see someone driving at excessive speeds (as in well above the posted speed limit or weather conditions suited to mere mortal vehicles) I'd mutter to myself, "Typical BMW driver." *%^#$

- BMW, I learned why this is a fairly typical occurrence. The car really is an all around well balanced machine that can, if you aren't paying close attention, lead you into driving with a bit more "vigor" than perhaps you should. I've taken to setting the speed limit chime to remind me when I'm on the freeway - tickets here can get REALLY expensive.

Yeah, when I first had my 328i, I thought the same thing until I drove the 335i....then got that instead

But yeah, I did manage to hit 225kph from toronto to kingston highway when it was empty in the morning.

Yup, my friend says I drive like an asshole, but when I let him drive my car, he started doing the same, the power seduced him, and he told me he understood why now
