Another wheel question: Volk ZE40

Would these specs fit our m235? Thanks for your help guys!

Front: 18x8.5 offset +30
Rear: 18x9.5 offset +40 (they also have +50)

I've seen a few pics of our cars with these wheels on but I can't seem to find the specs or if wheel spacers are used or not.

I actually got a quote from EAS on a set of these but can't remember the spec they suggested. Contact them, they know what they're talking about and can source these for the m235i.

I ordered winter wheels with the same widths but +35 front and +45 rear. Supposedly they make poke a little but I haven't seen it in person yet. If that's the case, those Volk specs would poke even more, but tire size matters as well.

Thanks for the info! I may go with a +50 offset in the rear and see if it needs a spacer to make it flush. I just got to find time to get all this done.

I want these wheels so badly. First thing I blow my tax returns on in the spring for sure.

Let me know how you like them and post pictures.

Dug up my email from dan at EAS and this is what he recommended:

"We can do two fitments 18x8 et45 front 18x8.5 et45 rear or just 18x8.5 et45 all around. It's the same price for either set."

Easy to work with and will get you a good deal. Shoot him a PM.

I think that's more to the discretion of the vendors if they want to share their quotes to be honest. A lot of vendors prefer that to be between them and customers. Shoot EAS a PM for a quote.

Decided to go with:

front: 19 x 8.5" offset +35
rear: 19 x 9.5" offset +45

Bronze all the way!

No one in the states has this spec in stock. Not in stock in Japan either. The set will be finished by February so I'm hoping to have them in March 2016. Let the wait begin!

Ordered through Evasive Motorsport. Good group of guys and very knowledgable. Found an m235 online that had the Volk ze40s and for the life of me can't find anywhere the size and offset on this car. Evasive figured out it was done by Studie in Japan and called up Volk and Studie and got the size and offset on the car. Only difference is the Studie m235 was running 19x8 +45s up front. I'm going with 19x8.5 +35 up front. Rears will be 19x9.5 +45. Thumbs up to them for figuring it out!

I've also ordered a set of KW DDC plug and play coilovers and having everything done by evasive. These coilovers are special order and won't come til late December and the wheels won't come til March next year. The long wait!

Thanks for the info. I'm surprised the 19x8.5 +35 will fit.

Keep us updated on the status.
