Osram Rallye 65w H7
Anyone have any prior experience with these? I put them in last night, drove it around for about 20 minutes, the output on them is great compared to the ZXE's I had in there, they are a little on the OEM yellow side, but they light up the road a lot better. My main concern with then is the heat they put off. Should I worry about that much heat on the housing/lense? Also, how well with the stock wiring hold up to them? I've read just about every thread I've come across regarding them, but every since post was always with mixed opinions.

How is the headlight assembly holding up ? I have not read anyone post any issue yet about osram rallye h7 bulbs.
I just ordered 4 of these from CandlePower without even thinking of heat issue. I hope all is well but please let me know if you had any problems. Thanks. |

I ended up taking them out and putting them in my high beam, since I don't use it that often. Didn't feel to comfortable with them in the low beam, since a good bit of my driving is at night. But on a few passat pages, they seem to be holding up fine.

Ok, thanks.
Candlepower has already shipped my order so i'm going to try them out. I already have upgraded to Silverstar ultra and it seems the light beam is shorter than oem and just a tad whiter. |
