Fog lamp bulbs

Are the bulbs for the e92 MSport (2008) definitely H11's?

M sport has a diffrent fitment bulb holder so a H11 wont fit

Fog lamps on the Pre-LCI are H3 bulbs matey.

ok so mine say hb4 on them but the bulb looks like H11
do the bulbs pull out of the holders or do you have to buy the holder as well

yes it is
i tried to fit H11and they had a diffrent bulb holder so didnt fit i then looked to see if i could just pull the bulbs out and fit the H11 bulb into the hb4 holder but it appeared that the bulbs were welded into the holder looks like spot welds etc so i gave up

it's not confusing at all , h11's comes with build in holder .
H8/9/11 are the same , i use 5000k hid's in my fog lights as standard bulbs are too yellow for me
