228i M-Sport w/ Track Pack
I am curious about adding a couple tweaks to this car when it arrives. I am not sure I want to do a Dinan tune initially (whenever it becomes available for the N20), but would love some suggestions that would add a bit more power to this car. Going to have around $2k to spend and was think catdownpipe, intake and exhaust. I do NOT want an overly loud exhaust, but would love something a bit more sporting than stock. Folks around here seem more knowledgeable than I so figured I'd ask. Thanks for any feedback!.....(I still may also add Dinan Stage 1 tune when available as getting this car up to near 235 numbers would be interesting with reduced weight and same handling).

Congrats on the purchase of your 228i! Definitely gotta do an intake, exhaust and a tune to get up to 235i hp levels. I'm aiming for close to 400+ wheel horsepower after e85, meth, intercooler, chargepipe, turbo upgrade, tune and catless downpipe.

Listened to some videos and that's a bit louder than I'd like I think. Sounding like if you want to go stealth you go JB4 or pay up for Dinan. Leaning Dinan due to warranty. Sounds like they will have the tune for N20 by Oct/Nov.

Just installed the AFE scorcher box and you can definitely feel the power increase right away! Literally took 5 min. No check engine lights either so I'm good. Gonna go test it out on the drag strip tomorrow to see how much better my times are compared to stock
