Consensus on subframe fix?
On M3f I was loosely following what people were doing to fix the 'subframe' issue but I never got the feeling there was a consensus. What have you guys done?
I was thinking of going with Mason subframe support or X brace with Redish plates.

I just got my M3 and know that I will need to do this. I have been looking into the reinforcement kits you find on ECS Tuning

Structuring Epoxy like in the Good ol days
I just ordered Teroson Terocore 1401 from this website:
https://www.klium.com/terocore-1401-...2550091-913491 I ordered 9 cartiges to do both sides (compared with the original cartige BMW sold, these are half the size, and by watching Redish video of doing it they used 2 cartiges per sides = 8 cartiges of the stuff sold on klium + 1 for making my tests) I will put this stuff and probably refresh my bushings at some point, as old bushings will cause more movement which will cause more panel fatigue. I don't want to shell out 6 grand for the plates and Vince Bar but will consider having the Redish V3 plates installed before pouring the epoxy. Last edited by E46m3zcp; 03-18-2022 at 08:21 PM.. |
