Why would he offer that he has your jacket, then act as if he wants to return it to you and then be a jerk after? That is a dick move. I feel you on the clothing bit though. I once cut a man for scuffing my sneakers. Not really. I would though. The ex-wife managed to steal a vintage Lacoste cardigan from me when she left for the last time. Dirty bitch. Eight years together.....you mention her name and I think of adultery and my vintage cardigan that went with everything. |

No apologies ever necessary, my friend! We still need to figure out a central location for a meet-up! We once did this on the M5 Board but the central location and event was a car launch in Spain. We don't need to go that far but it would be super awesome!!

Sometimes snapping necks is the only way to be a king.
The comedy behind this is what I really look like. At 44, with a shaved head, glasses and below 140 pounds; I'm the most menacing, un-menacing looking guy you'll ever see. Hey now! I detect sarcasm! I actually didn't come up with King Rudi. I feel like calling yourself king is a bit conceited. I got named and avatar made by my homeboy Soul_Glo "Everything is so green!" Agree 1000% I'm not too far from you. I'm in east TN, just a few hours away. We haven't set a date yet, but the girlfriend and I plan to go to Savannah, hopefully this summer, for some haunted tour goodness. When we finalize everything, I'll get at you. |

Last September, when I came off my cut and started my winter bulk; I weighed 132 pounds @ 8% body fat. Craziness. Two years ago when I started the gym/body transformation, I weighed 211. Never worked out a day in my life. The only sports I was in to prior, was skateboarding. I'm older, kids are grown, needed a new challenge. My dumb ass did everything backwards. I didn't want to be "all muscled up" I just didn't want to be fat anymore. Did little weight resistance training and did 1 hour to 1.5 hours of cardio 6 days a week. Seriously, we're talking 1.5 hours on an elliptical with the resistance set on about 3/4 of the max, 6 days roughly 1100 - 1300 k/cal burned per session - mind you my BMR is 1600. Made myself crazy catabolic and crazy skinny fat. Didn't realize it would be easier to build muscle, then lose the fat. I see too many fat muscular guys at the gym. Yes, they can lift big heavy weight, but they aren't in shape, they're just big. They're belly is as big as their arms, chest and shoulders. Didn't want to be bigger, wanted to be lean and cut. I started this cut cycle mid-February at 149 pounds. I'm trying to lose the fluff slowly, but damn it's hard. I've already lost 13 pounds. I'm at 136 as of this morning. The goal is to get to 146 - 150 at around 10-12% body fat. Getting there, just takes time and persistence. I was so lean in September the veins in my obliques and v-taper were very visible. I look skinny as shit until I take my shirt off. Once the fluff is gone, maybe about another month to 6 weeks, the striations in each muscle are very visible.

Needless to say and I'm very sure you are more than aware of this, but DIET is extremely important. In other words, what you put in your body makes a big difference. For the past year or so I've stayed away from PUFA oils, mainly seed based oils because that shit is nasty and causes inflammation which is unhealthy. I haven't felt better since doing so. Less bloated and a general feeling of health if you will. Hard as hell to get in that habit (no fried foods, potato chips, typical salad dressings, mayo, etc.) Combined with a good diet and regular exercise, I'm fairly happy with the results but have to keep it up. As you know, it's very easy to fall out of it due to burn out or other. Oh and lastly, the most underrated thing and one I am guilty of, SLEEP. I don't get enough of it but that has a tremendous impact on your ability to be healthy and fit. I honestly think it may be the most underrated thing when it comes to being healthy. |

The sleep thing gets me too. I'm a typical Type A personality, I'm 100 mph as fast and as hard as I can go from the second my eyes open until my head touches a pillow. 10-12 hours of work a day, 1.5-2 hours at the gym, then shower, then sex. I usually get about 4-5 hours a night. I'd love to get more sleep but my day is stacked already. To get more sleep I need to work less, not spend time at the gym and not see the girlfriend. None of those 3 are changing. Lack of sleep it is! |

Well done! You have a lot more willpower than I do for sure. Rather than go to the gym I just bought my own equipment instead. Almost commercial grade (treadmill, elliptical, spinning bike, weights) and I can work out any time I want and don't have to look at the muscle head dummies staring at themselves in the mirror. I find that cuts down on the amount of time wasted going to and from the gym, etc. Don't pay a membership fee either, but of course it's an upfront investment for ownership of said equipment.
Ha, among those choices I certainly understand how sleep becomes the victim |
