This: Houseboat

I mean, I didn't buy a houseboat - I rented this particular one for a week in September to spend on Lake Powell for my family. I am beyond excited for this.

I grew up spending my summers on a lake in Canada - Lac St-Pierre and this is going to be so much fun. I also rented a 23' speedboat to tow behind for water sports and exploring.

Ordered this yesterday. Might seem pricey but I need the exercise and I play about 250 rounds a year. At my age pushing a heavy cart through thick grass takes a toll so here we go. Better than using my EZGO golf cart where I sit and ride between shots.

After mistakenly not jumping on the upgrade last spring, finally sending my 11yr old V1 in to get the Gen. 2!
They've had supplier issues all last year, and weren't accepting the old gen trade-ins for upgrades. I've been checking 1-2x a month since May

Also finally have a CF PSM style spoiler coming in next week.

Went to lake Powell with a wake boat, decided we need this house boat AND the wake boat next time. It’s absolutely an amazing place and an amazing vacation

Home Depot today; Looks like the cold weather is over here in Arizona. Set up a raised garden bed and planted some tomatoes. I actually felt bad when selecting the plants knowing how their odds of survival under my stewardship is poor. But into the fray they go and I hope provide me some tasty fruit this summer. And yes, tomato is a fruit.

3" backing plate for my small polisher.

And some microfibers.

I hope to finish the paint correction and detail on the E9 this week.

I keep missing my turns I can't tell if my faculties are failing, or if I'm so enamored with the HUD that I'm just not seeing the road.

Don't feel bad. I had to set up reflectors on sticks in our garage because I can't judge distance in front of the car any more. I have to pull up to the stick until I see it move a bit from hitting it. Sux to get old.

Well, that freaking warning sensor is driving me crazy. I turned down the volume. My driveway from the back of the house to the street is 125' and pretty narrow. The warning beeps from the time I get on the driveway until I turn the car off.

I know that one day, I'm going to ignore it because it's always going off, and then I'm going to run something over. Those 275 meats on the back are going to squish whatever it was, too.

I am always rotated in the seat, looking back, and checking mirrors. Only quickly glance at the rear camera.

The "collision sensor" in my GLC is totally useless. It beeps every time I drive by a friggin' mailbox. Drives me nuts. Yet it rarely beeps at cars cutting across in front of me. Most useless piece of technology I've ever seen on a car.

We have been replacing our (really) old non-stick cookware set that are probably full of bad chemicals with newer pans. Mostly All Clad, and not non-stick. But it’s nice to have at least one good non-stick. I had not heard of this brand previously, but after reading about their products and watching some videos, I decided to try them out. After convincing my wife.

We’ve had cast iron in the past. Nice cooking surface but not interested in the maintenance and storage.

Micro SD card for my DAP since the built in drive (64GB) was full. Only $26, pretty good deal I think. Should hold a decent amount of music.

Finally replacing my racing gloves for Sparco Arrows. These have capacitive touch so I don't have to keep annoying taking my gloves on an off on the grid to adjust my settings on my timing equipment. $200 for fucking gloves.

Bought an LG 55CX OLED a couple of hours ago and there’s a definite improvement in picture quality over my 5/6 year old Samsung 6 series. Other than having to learn and customizing it to my liking, the three things I don’t like about it so far is the tv is too low/close to the bottom of the stand and there is zero tilt-ability to it, the Samsung I could have tilt it a good 15 degrees in any direction, and it changes channel noticeably slower. This tv rated really good for sports and steaming so hopefully I can get another 5-7 years before another upgrade.
