How does Nissan, Toyota and Honda (Acura) make the ugliest cars to come from across the pond? Even the new Type R looks like a mess. How does Toyota come from the Supra Prototype FT-1 to what they delivered? It just doesnt make sense. This thing should be a GT3 competitor.

Much the same could be said about your G82. To each their own right?

Agreed. I used to be a huge Japanese sports car fan, but everything in the last ten years has been lackluster. Each of those cars (except the TLX) have something I like, but not enough to buy one.

Except you're in the "non-BMW talk" part of the forum. And besides the G82 looks aren't exactly making BMW members here weak at the knees...well, maybe as they are getting sick.

Who comes to a BMW forum, everyday to talk about NON-BMWs?

Its easily the best car in its class, right now, and probably the fastest. Where previous models, used to be the slowest. And people with this fantasy about how ugly the car is, dont own one. Everyone that's seen my car, in person, say it's amazing.

You'd be surprised, a lot of people do, especially in the off-topic forum. A lot of great people and conversations are on the non-BMW and off-topic area of the forum.

My first car was a 1992 Integra GS, back in 1992. I also had a 1994 GSR. And half a dozen Civics, including a 2019 Type R. So, I have history with the platform. It's sad what they turned it into. I felt the same way when Mitsubishi decided to bring the Eclipse nameplate back, and made it an SUV. Quit ruining the legacy. I had 3 Eclispe GSXs and 2 Talon TSI AWDs. Stop ruining the name with ugly renditions.

I very much see the same with the Mustang EV. Seems they are out of value to move brands forward with new nameplates and introductions so they borrow some previously earned social clout with recognizable names. In some ways itís one of the greatest times to be an enthusiast, yet in others such as this, itís painful.

What's most important is how YOU feel about the car
As most of my coworkers have said
And this is all an anecdote
But everytime I show them the car they always ask why the front end is so bad
As some one who's owned 2 F8x and currently there's an e92 and e39 in the family
I have zero interest Ina bmw this hideous

Aren't there other places to make fun of the G8x? I don't go there, but I feel like they're out there. Poor thing.

BMW forums and trashing on BMWs, such an iconic duo ongoing for decades. Endless entertainment.

Homie was commenting on the topic at hand and instead getting roasted on the $80k+ purchase he just made.
