To go with the one I posted this morning:
Another great song by Janis Joplin, and Big Brother & the Holding Company, an awesome band. Had this album when I was a kid.

Killer instrumental from Tony Hawk's American Wasteland. Borderline Dream Theater level songwriting and musicianship.

Live show from '78. 100,000 people at the Sydney Opera House. I can't believe this video only has 5408 views.

Just finished, hubbahubba. Really nice! And your favorite, It's a Long Way There, was great! Thanks for posting. Wonder why I haven't heard much from these guys? They must not have gotten played much. Maybe I just wasn't listening. Well, they got my attention now.

hubbabubba's mention of Neil Peart in another thread reminded me of how much I appreciated his lyrics in many songs by Rush. R.I.P.
(The guitar near the end of The Trees also inspires me)

HNY to all of you!
This is a song that was pretty popular overhere in the beginning of the 90s. And there is that nice looking girl with the black straight hair in the video. End of story. Anyway: Virtually everybody in the western world knows this song or what? This is a 2013 live radio version (just in what looks like some kind of an office/cafeteria it seems) pretty pure and no blingbling special fx. Love it. Great voice. I kid you not, that girl in the first video is Saffron, the leadsinger of Republica, second video. So strange I did not know that...But now I know. Cheers Robin |
