Just an update:-
So, the Mini JCW has gone and as such I will take my time to see if I can find an E46 that takes my fancy (for the right money of course). Thanks for all your posts and hopefully ill have one soon....... I'm off to count grey CSL's (like sheep), to get me off to sleep |

How is the gas mileage on the e46 m3's?

I believe on a really ginger run an E46 M3 will do about 30mpg but its mainly high teens/low 20's for everything else.....
