Featured on BIMMERPOST.com https://www.live.bmwgroup.com/en/liv...rio-14965.html (There is a Youtube streaming as well, but I cannot find the link now, it seems they removed it.)

That would be two big reasons that come to mind. IX isn't the prettiest car or the best range, but at least you can sleep at night knowing it was built well and if you need a part BMW will be there and there will be places to work on it. |

In Norway it's 15K USD cheaper than the Model X while having more range and then all the obvious parts such as build quality.

I am just hoping for a vehicle that has all the traditional bells/whistles without a price tag north of $100,000.

Tesla quality has recently been rated by its own owner body in a large sample survey as worst in industry.

Maybe its just slanted by social media, but it seems that you can't buy one without developing some less than desireable personality traits. Also it seems like if you do own one you then have to purposely invade any (and I mean any) car related thread to spout off about how 'superior' your Tesla is etc - although I discovered recently there may be a financial benefit (some sort of 'miles' program that counts towards your Supercharger billing or something) that explains why they're quite so fanatical. The other thing I noticed is with regards to the point above about build quality, although the same seems to apply to functionality; basically any issue is either answered in forums by "stop complaining, your [insert problem here] will get fixed by Tesla, so no big deal" or "your just using it wrong" or "why are you trying to do that, you should be doing this instead" (that last one I found particuarly for new owners complaining about the lack of support for Apple devices/Apple Music). In other words, rather than really trying to help, they seem to imply (or just flat out say) the OP is somehow stupid or not deserving of their vehicle. Anyway, just my two cents/pennies - I've got no experience of build quality, but its certainly a recurrent theme in a lot of reviews etc. |

It's north of 100K. In Norway, where we don't pay fees or taxes on electric cars, the fully charged iX50 is about $115K (not fully, fully equipped). The iX40 is about $97 for the same package.
