Thanks for the quick reply Tom! That worked. Seems the January 2015 revision of the instructions are out of date.

And they should take a picture of the obd wires from behind the plug as if you're looking at it to help with color blind folk like me.

A couple of the wiring connections are also different in the updated instructions Tom sent me. But I completed the install and it works exactly like it is supposed to. Hardest part of the install was getting the tab pushed in to release the obd port. \

I opened and closed the valves a few times...with the key on, but without the car started. They open and close very quickly. I look forward to hearing a cold start tomorrow morning with the valves open and closed, but folks in my house and next door are already sleeping here on the east coast, so I'm not going to do that tonight.

nice! let us know how it goes! Start the car, open the flaps, then turn the motor on and your cold start will be thunderous

Yea, I swear some of the wires on the module side weren't the colors indicated in the instructions. Yes I have problems with colors but that's when I asked the wife wtf colors were what. but they were still wrong. Oh well, I managed like the rest of us.

Do you guys have any idea why this wont work with my Valentine 1 with Savvy plugged into the OBD2. It recognizes that Im activating it, I see the left turn signal blink once, if I do it again, I see the right one blink, and so one, but the valve stays closed. All the while my radar seems to be working fine. If I unplug my Radar detector (savvy unit) from the OBD2, and turn off the car and try again, it works fine and the valves close and open as they should. Cant seem to figure it out.

Haven't tried together with the savvy module before, what setting are you using on the EVC module?

I havent changed any settings on the unit. I simply checked to see if it was up to date and installed it. Do you think I should look into doing so?

Would be interested in knowing its compatibility with V1's Savvy. I have it in my car and would like to get this and co-exist with the Savvy. Thanks.

Have a user experiencing some issues with the Savvy/EVC combo, so the two are not compatible together until we can get one in for datalogging and see what's happening.

Diagnostic equipment passes with no issues.
