Rear Subframe Issue...Please Help!

Hey all... I have a slight issue and trying to obtain some advice here. I recently took my 04 M3 to the dealer for a multi-point inspection, and the mechanic informed me that the body that holds my rear subframe is cracked in 3 places. He mentioned that this subframe problem is a manufacturer defect resulting in a class action lawsuit a couple years back. After some research, it looks like Settlement ended in late 2010, so basically BMW is saying that I am responsible for paying for this own my own. Any advice on what else I can do? Thanks so much!

Normally any BMW shop in your area can do this repair, it is VERY common, we see it almost everyday. You would need an aftermarket sub-frame reinforcement kit as well.
