Grinding sound while making turning

hi everyone,

i have an 02 m3 convertable with an odd issue. i get vibration at low speed and a grinding sound during sharp turns. is this a sign of my diff or axles going out? anyone have any idea what it might be? i have checked the bearings and its in good shape. not a slight moment when i shake the wheels. any thoughts would help.

It's probably the diff fluid. You probably don't have the FM booster in it. You can seach for that here of at m3forum -- lots of info on it.

you can find it at any bmw retailer. Rear axle fluid saf-xj + fm booster

I just did mine this weekend. Noise went away in minutes. Do a few right and left tight turns to properly lube up the diff after the job.
