2002 M3 - Oxford Green/Cinnamon/SMG (1 of 16) - PPI Performed
Hey guys, I have decided to part with my extremely rare & beautiful 2002 Oxford Green/Cinnamon M3 Coupe. One of the most sought-after color combo. Only 16 of these examples in this combination were made for NA market. Bought this car back in September of last year at 76,410 miles and the current mileage is 76,650 miles. I have barely driven the car and she sits in the garage covered next to my E30 M3 and E92 LRP M3 My intention was to grow my collection but unfortunately other priorities is forcing the sale. Here is the info on the car VIN - WBSBL93452JR14513 Prod. Date - 2001-12-12 Color - Oxfordgruen 2 Metallic (430) Upholstery - Teilleder W.N.Zimt (N5ZM) Current Mileage - 76,600 Title - Clean MI Title (No Lien) No. of owners – 2 Length of ownership – 10 months Editions and Packages S793A - Sequential M Transmission S710A - M Leather Steering Wheel S785A - White Direction Indicator Lights Comfort and Interior Equipment S403A - Glass Roof Electrical S441A - Smoker Package S459A - Seat Adjuster Electric with Memory S464A - Ski Bag S473A - Armrest Front S494A - Seat Heating Driver/Passenger S431A - Interior mirror with Automaticdip Multimedia S650A - CD Player S674A - HiFi system Harmon Kardon S692A - Preparation BMW 6CD Changer Ibus S641A - Radio BMW Business C43 Driver Assistance and Lighting S502A - Headlight Cleaning system S508A - Park Distance Control PDC S521A - Rain Sensor S522A - Xenon Light S534A - Automatic Air Conditioning S520A - Fog Light Stats on the OG in NA: 116 cars w/OG exterior 48 cars w/Cinnamon interior 32 cars w/manual & 16 cars w/SMG. Maintenance The car was owned by an older gentleman and it unfortunately didn’t come with any maintenance records, but the Carfax shows extensive service/maintenance logs at the BMW dealership. As soon as I purchased the vehicle, I performed a major service including complete Inspection II. Following was performed during the service, Oil/oil filter Cabin Filter Air Filter Fuel Filter Spark Plugs Brake Fluid Valve Cover Gasket Idler Pulley Accessory Belt (Air Conditioner and Alternator/Water Pump) Valve Adjustment VANOS and undercarriage was inspected during the service and no issues were found. Performed a PPI on 7/30 at a local dealer. A slight leak in the rear axle and a minor seepage was detected in the trans. Dealer did not advised to address those items immediately. This was just a recommendation. Also I don't see anything on the garage floor. Exterior/Undercarriage Exterior is in excellent condition with few exterior blemishes. Clean Carfax history with all original body panels and factory paint. Front section of the hood is cover with clear bra so there are no stone chips on the hood, but the front bumper does have few stone chips and scrap marks on the bottom. The front bumper also has the holes drilled for the front license plate. Rear spoiler has a small nick. Looks like something came down and caught the spoiler. Passenger side rear window seal is cracked. Undercarriage is very clean for the age and the mileage. No signs of rust and leaks of any kind anywhere. Interior Interior is in mint condition w/little to no wear on driver seat. Rear seat is practically new. C pillar material is sagging a bit which is common as you all know. The Titanium trim has no scratches or peeling/bubbling. Very little peeling around the cup holder and wear on the sunglass holder lid. No dead pixels and everything inside work as it’s supposed to. Modification No modifications. Completely stock and unmolested. Vehicle comes with (2) Original window stickers, all manuals and all 4 keys available. Car is professionally detailed and ready for the next owner. Tons of exterior/interior/undercarriage pictures available here https://drive.google.com/open?id=14E...lhRsea6lxI_673 New asking $26,500 + Shipping Thanks for looking.

Cool car and spec. How do you like the SMG compared to the DCT in the lime rock park?

DCT is very quick and smooth compared to SMG and the downshifts are just amazing but having said that, anybody can drive a DCT car. It doesn't require any skills. You just have your foot planted on the gas and flip the paddles whereas, SMG is completely opposite. It is a true manual transmission. It behaves like one. It rolls down the hill just like a manual, you have to lift off to change gears just like a manual. Downshifts and rev-matching have to be mastered just like a manual. This is my 3rd SMG and I love the transmission. If you know how to drive it, it's a lot of fun. Auto mode in SMG is garbage. It's too slow and jerky but manual mode in high setting is fun. I know a lot of people just won't even consider an SMG car but I have no issues buying one. I've had (4) E46 M3's and 3 out of 4 with SMG trans.

Subscribed. How old is that front clear bra? Do you think if it was removed it would take the paint off? SMG ever been serviced? Subframe inspected?

If this was a 6-speed car, I'd be contacting you to sort out price. That color combination is bite-the-back-of-your-hand gorgeous. Good luck with the sale!
Meantime, I'm going to go troll SMG-->6-speed swap threads to see how much trouble I want to get myself in... |

Stunning! I still think about that LSB you had for sale a few years ago! Good luck with the sale but you won't need it.
