Doing oil pan gasket soon on 2007 e83(N52), anything else to replace?

Im already 90% on removal since I’m having to do some other stuff related to differential.

My question is while I’m already that far down in the removal process is there anything else I should replace? While it wasn’t a hard process it’s not something I would like to go through again within a year if I could’ve just done it all in one swoop.

I’ve got engine mounts as an extra since I’m already there.

How many miles on the motor? I did rod bearings on my 2008 N54 when I changed the oil pan gasket at 150k miles. The N54 is more stressed. I slso added a crank guard, though the pan does not have to be off for that.

We did the front suspension on our E83 X3 while it was taken apart for the oil pan gasket and also serviced the differential.

I would refresh suspension if tired or have not been touched by now. If there was no weird noises from bottom end or oil pressure light I wouldn’t touch rod bearings. This engine is not prone to that. Early ones tend to have ticking from top end because of leaky valve buckets.

Crank guard plate, oil sensor gasket, forget the BMW sealant injection and slather the gasket both sides with 3m grey sealant.

Check the oil pick up for belt material that may have been sucked in previously.
