19 comp wheel size

Hey , I'm tracking my e46 and I have ZCP wheels 19 inch and I wanted to know the best size tires for the track. Is stock size fine 225/255? Should I go bigger will it help on the track? Pls help!! Thanks

Best tire sizes for tracking are 17s or 18s.

I hope you're turning DSC off on track or 245 front, 255 rear is going to ruin your experience.

235/265 should be fine. The issue is when you have different rolling diameter front and rear-- the DSC compares the wheel speeds and thinks you're slipping, cuts in.

I'm pretty sure you could sell the ZCP wheels, buy 17s, and come out even. After that, you're in the money. The last set of 275 wide 17" NT-01s I bought were $100/tire, shipped.
