e46 M3's have been pulling pretty good numbers on bring a trailer recently. I'd go there. Exterior in a color (not a shade of grey/black/white), non grey interior, 6mt, and reasonably low miles should make it do pretty well... though the vert will work against you.

Yea, it's definitely underpowered. But that's not a concern to me. Just everything about that car, something very appealing....and I've always wanted a E46, just couldn't afford it when it came out. I honestly think it's the best looking M3 produced.

Anyone have experience with EAG? They're my last resort, but I'd like to not go that route if I can save a bit haha
A well kept low mileage E46 M3 is not sloshy. I have 2 with 6MT and they are wonderful to drive. They are well balanced and drive very differently than the turbo M cars. I have those also. The NA engine sound is intoxicating, especially when pushed. It feels very light and handles incredibly. Power is very linear and predictable.

I own 3 E46’s and love all of them, i also have an E36, E92 and F82 and my favorite is still the e46, so nimble, well balanced car and timeless design
Have a 2001 oxford green, 2005 zcp slicktop stratus grey, 2006 slicktop carbon black
All of them are 6mt, one of them was originally smg and swapped it to 6mt, couldnt stand the smg
Here are some pics

different times, back when it was first released in 2000s, it was one of the best driving cars out there. Even till today the euphoria it created when driven hard is unmatched from a modern car. It was far from underpowered and sloshy. I settled on an E92 only because its impossible to find a clean example of the e46 on the used market, most are poorly maintained and need too much work.

There are a lot of clean examples but overpriced, they went up in price after that $90k car was sold at BAT
I am selling my 2006 carbon black slicktop 6mt with 80k miles, clean carfax, looks and drives like new, all maintenance done, vanos and subframe are ok, asking $29,900 which may seem overpriced but dont want to sell it unless i get what i am asking for, not in the need or rush to sell it, just want to get a LSB to replace it if it ever sells
