Yes no Porsche dealer near me either. I did get a loaner from my dealer for a morning. Luckily my dealership is quite close. Maybe 10 miles. Same city basically. I'm hoping to not be there much.

Sorry bud, but the new car warranty EVEN on 2022's is 4 years/80,000kms. It's the service maintenance that is now 3/60.

This is incorrect.
Parts and Labour warranty is 2 years if you pay for it.

If it is covered under warranty, it expires when the warranty that covered it expires. (Example, they replace your thermostat under 4yr/80k warranty it would not be covered once your factory warranty expires)

Errrr, that's not true.

If BMW replaces a part 1 day before the warranty expires, it will have exactly 1 day of warranty, same as the rest of the car.

Just make sure its done under para 2 conditions...

Pretty quick answer from BMW Canada CS, 28 minutes

Dear JJ:

Thank you for contacting BMW Canada regarding part warranties.

Please be advised that parts replaced;

1. Under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty (first four years or 80,000km whichever comes first) or any other BMW Warranty are not eligible for parts warranty coverage. They would still be covered by the BMW warranty under which they were replaced.

2. Parts replaced under a Service Action, Recall, or Goodwill are warranted for the remainder of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty or two years from installation, whichever is greater.

If you have any further questions, please contact the Customer Interaction Centre at 1-800-567-2691. Again, thank you for contacting BMW.

Sincerely,

Momo
BMW Canada

Only if we have goodwill budget left for the month. BMW gives the dealers a set amount every month to use towards goodwill repairs. The amount is based on many factors. Once that budget is used up, that's it for the month. We will only use part of that budget for "good" customers. If you only come by when you need warranty repairs or recalls, or did not buy the vehicle from us........bad news. Even previous CSI ratings are factored in. If you give us a bad CSI rating time and time again, why would we go the extra mile for you?

I'm sure I would be on the good side of Sonia, 2 X3s within 10 months.

So if I need a goodwill after 2024, I'll make sure that I'll the 1st of the month

Btw, what is a CSI rating?
