So we can expect leaky valve seals?

I wonder what the high voltage cables are doing under the hood next to the gas engine.
Yeah! The V8+high voltage caught my attention right away! I'm wondering if they are still doing mild hybrid like the B58 approach, but with higher voltage for more oomph. It makes some sense for that to be the first "///M" approach to hybridization.
If it was 48v, it would be purple

Looks exactly like the s63tu set up in the f95/F96 M, plus some hybrid tech added in.

Is it yet another "hot vee" design that runs hot, drinks oil, and eats batteries?

I feel like by the S63TU they mostly had that figured out. Mine is 5 years and 2 months old, still on the original battery, I've only put oil in it at 12k miles after the last change and nothing else in the engine bay has been changed.

It looks really similar to the engine in my M50i. Looks like it's going to be a beast!
