E36 M3 S52 Motor Noise (ticking or knocking)

So after a hard drive in my 99 M3 I get back home and hear this ticking or knocking, mind you it wasn’t that bad at first and just thought possibly the valves.

Okay things get weird, the next day leaving my neighborhood I did a pull to 7k and it just had the most horrendous noise and started running awful so I turned around and limped it back in my garage.

I though maybe bent valve as the noise was coming from upper end is what I thought, so I pulled the head (haven’t pulled the valves yet, waiting on tool) and when I was turning the motor over bolts started dropping, and it turns out I lost every single bolt besides the 2 that were half way in from the crank pulley.
Now I am bamboozled.

Also upon removing the cams I noticed pretty deep scoring, do anyone have any thoughts?

Could that have been the problem? I can PM you a video of what the motor sounded like.
