Noting exotic, but these chicken fajitas have become a weekly meal around here. It smells so good standing over it while it’s cooking.

I don't normally buy steaks in bulk, but current events inspired me to pick up some Prime strip steaks from Costco. Holy crap that steak was spectacular! Did my usual cast-iron skillet + oven method, with butter, herbs, and garlic. Also made some brown rice and roasted some asparagus.

So just waiting for the Pizza to arrive, Butlers Grill. A local place with a wood stove. They make a good pie, and I'm happy to do a little to help them out.
And, I'm into the rum.... |

Those NY just didn't have the marbling necessary. Right next to the fatty edge they were WONDERFUL
Tomorrow we grill the Rib Eyes. They have much better marbling. Wake up and salt those fuqers

How you figure? I’ve always found NYs to have better marbling throughout than a ribeye does. Ribeye has distinct fatty areas of the cut which are delicious, but lacks them outside of that. It’s a lot to do with that fact I’ve been buying more New York’s the past few years than I have ribeyes - more flavor per bite.

I am saving so much money eating at home. I couldn't get 1 rib eye at even Outback for what I spent on these 5 Opps, Don Julio and Grand Marnier into to recycle bin

Took the car downtown to get some take out soul food. Fried chicken, mac and cheese, black eyed peas, collard greens, and fried okra.

Made another of the Prime Strip steaks I got from Costco a couple weeks ago. These are so good that when I consider the price, I may never buy a steak from anyplace else again! Roasted some asparagus and made some brown rice.
