05 E46 w/competition pkg, no cruise control

Anybody ever install or have installed a cruise control?. Bought car new and because of competition pkg cruise not available, don't want to give up car but on long trips it's a pain n the ass w/out cruise

No, because it has the competition package cruise was not a option.

I would guess that if cruise were standard on all other 3 series, it exists, you just need the buttons, I've seen people mount the buttons behind a sparco wheel, so I don't know why you wouldn't be able to do the same -- I'm guessing about it existing, but it wouldn't make sense cost wise to specifically take out a standardized part...

The wiring is there. Buy a a regular m3 steering wheel and you'll get cruise back. Search the web for some results I'm sure people have done it. Personally my skin and alcantara don't do well
