Cool What should I do to my e46 M3?

2004 M3, I am looking to spend 500 dollars. I am not sure of what to get. Any ideas?

I'd say a shift kit. The OEM shifter is probably loose by now, and a new one (UUC, RE) is miles better anyway.

Hmmm, probably drop it on some H&R springs. Other then that can't think of much else. IMO I'd probably just save a bit more for a bigger mod.

I say it depends on the color of your car. Also whether you're interested in cosmetic mods or performance mods. Personally, the first thing I did when I bought my e46 was changed out the kidney grills and got color matched side markers.

may be a little over $500 though. Springs alone are around $250 and installation, assuming you are having someone else do it, will run around $300. Totally worth it though. You will notice this is usually the case as you start modding your ride; you pay more for installation than you do for the part(s) itself...always worth it though, just make sure you do your research first.
