Is it just me, or does anyone else not care about mileage?

My family moved from NYC to NJ to MD and the roads are fantastic here.

I'd rather buy a 150k mile car here than a 60k car from the northeast, all things equal. This makes it great for finding great deals. But I see some people turn their noses at the thought of a high mileage car.

Just food for thought.

Be safe, and happy driving!

It all goes to the cost of repairs and matter how you cut it, a 150K mike car will need items replaced or rebuilt. Parts are not designed to last for excess miles.

But like you, I rather not pay a premium for these modern classics. For me, it's useless buying a low mileage car because I want to drive my cars.

However, going back to your point. I often think about buying a high mileage car and have a restoration shop take it back to when it was off the lot with some tasteful upgrades. Similar to how Singer does it with their Porsche's, but at a much more reasonable cost. Wonder if anyone is in that market who can provide this service.
