Does the dealer that I lease from matter?

The closer dealer may be willing to match; I'm waiting to hear back from them. Further away dealer is smaller and moves far fewer iX. I figure they may have been willing to go lower because of that? No clue. I've seen such a wide range of offers: everything from 1% to 11%. |

On the other hand, if there is any issue and you need a loaner, will you get one quickly?
I received my car in another area thru a broker, had to bring it in to my local dealer for a broken horn and I was given a loaner right away. You shouldn’t have an issue but if dealer is short of loaners it just might take some time to get one. |

Nope. I leased my Ford Ranger from Tracy Ford. Did a early buyout and dropped it off at my local Elk Grove Ford (did my paperwork there and literally 5 miles from my house).
Planning to do the same with my IX. Realized EV is not my cuppa tea and I might switch to a plug in hybrid Jeep Wranger instead (already own a diesel Gladiator that gets me over 500 miles + in winter and all heated seats on full blast with 33" mud terrain tires). |

I always go to the dealer with the best reputation for customer service. They all have a culture, positive or negative or can't be bothered.
When you find one that tries to do the right thing consistently, it is worth much more than a point or additional miles. |

Absolutely not ... I lease/buy every BMW from wherever I get the best deal. I only service it at one particular NJ dealership with top techs and great service, and I always turn-in my leases to the same dealership. Fun fact ... I've never once bought/leased a car from them. Their service dept is fantastic, but the sales dept is tighter than a frog's ass when it comes to making deals! |
