2006 e46 m3 zcp
****Edit***** No longer available, selling a different car and keeping. Considering putting my M3 up on auction site, but willing to offer it here to forum members prior. VIN: WBSBL93496PN63849 Mileage: 123,4xx Competition Package (ZCP) Silver Metallic Originally SMG, converted to a 6 speed at 92k Sunroof NAV Harmon Kardon rear shade Parking sensors power seats I purchased this at 118k May of 2020 and have just done oil changes. Subframe has not been reinforced, however appears to be in good shape. Rod bearings do not appear to have been ever changed. See Vanos info below. I did have Blackstone oil analysis done <1,000 miles ago and everything came back looking good. Previous owner I purchased it from bought it at 89K miles as a California Buy-back and did most of the changes himself being a mechanic. The background on buy-back is right at 50,000 miles (when it was CPO) in Sept. 2011 customer complained of unpleasant noise coming from transmission. BMW installed shift kit and replaced clutch release bearing. After still complaining, BMW bought it back. Current title is South Dakota, no accidents, manufacturer buyback. VANOS and rear subframe have been inspected twice in last 6 years Previous owner used as summer daily driver in MN. I have basically used it for weekend cruising or car shows. It always sits in a climate controlled garage and previous owner stored it in winters. Maintenance: Oil Changes with recommended Castrol Synthetic at about 120,xxx and 122,xxx. Oil change at 122,xxx was when the Blackstone analysis was done. Previous Owner Maintenance: oil changes with Lqui-Moly 10W-60 every 7500 miles At 89K performed the following: Valve adjustment New air cleaner New front and rear brake rotors New front and rear brake pads New fuel filter Spark plugs Differential fluid Redline 75W-140 Transmission fluid changed D4 ATF Transmission input and output seals changed Brake fluid changed to ATE Super Blue Side mirror glass replaced Front Lower Control arms replaced Cabin filter replaced Driveshaft guibo replaced CPV O-ring changed Power steering hose replaced At 92K Coolant flush Transmission input and output seals changed SMG to 6 speed conversion Euro Tune ECU cooling fan replaced at 105K air bag recall performed at 110K vanos solenoid (Dr. Vanos) replaced at 110K MODS: Suspension: Eibach Pro springs KYB yellow dampers wheel spacers 15mm front, 12 mm rear wheels studs Bridgestone at all 4 corners PFC Z brake pads at all 4 corners Interior: Window tint ZCP steering wheel was re-wrapped without alcantara non-ZCP upper wheel trim with audio functionality. illuminated shift knob and leather boot Aux audio port in ashtray (3.5 mm headphone jack) Drivetrain: Auto Solutions SSK 6 speed Euro header and cats Euro tune coded 6 speed intake plenum CONS/issues: Shift column has vibration at high RPMs. Not sure if this is related to the buy-back or not. BMW inspected this for me and cannot diagnose what is causing it. They said engine and transmission seem fine, scratching my head at this point. Doesn't affect driving at all, just annoying. It was this way when I bought it and have driven it with no issues throughout. I'm sure some good BMW shop can figure it out, I just don't have any options where I live. screen scratches on NAV display. b pillar fabric and DS A pillar loose. small rock chips, paint imperfections throughout (nothing huge though, cars shows well). Front and rear bumpers could use new clips/adjustment (sagging a little). Sounds like there might be something slightly rubbing (tire/suspension) on right side when cornering left pretty good, haven't figured it out yet or had anyone diagnose it as I just noticed it very recently. Needs new gas cap spring as you need to hold spring while closing it so it doesn't pop out. Please don't low ball me, it's a nice M3 ZCP that just needs some minor attention to a few items. I don't have the time or shops in my area I would trust, so better to sell as-is adjusted vs. make it perfect trying to get top dollar. I think my ask price accommodates the minor work and upcoming maintenance needed considering market comparison auctions. Last edited by BimmerfanSD; 08-27-2022 at 10:41 AM.. Correct, title is not clean. It is an accident-free, manufacturer buyback South Dakota title.
Also, I have a walk-around video and cold start video on my YouTube channel. I will paste links here, but members have had problems viewing them. If they are not viewable you can search for Siggy550 Freud (use the space or some guy doing gun videos comes up). |
