Better than another member's super sketchy setup of using aftermarket harnesses fastened to the rear isofix mounts by the seat cushion

Edit what's an m3 wagon?
Fixed back seats with a 3 point is a pretty normal setup, from the factory (e.g. e46 M3 CSL, e90 M3 CRT, Porsche GT3s, etc), in every country other than the USA. The notion that the reclining seat will somehow save you from a collapsing roof is unique to this country.

My DD is an e46 wagon with full mechanical/electronic M3 conversion-- engine/trans/diff/subframes/bushings/seats/gauges/brakes/chassis reenforcement/DSC/etc. You can read about it here, but seems a bit OT to this thread...

Can you use 5pt harnesses with these seats? (hone on the bottom)?

What an excellent thread. So much useful information that I had not even thought of. Being able to use the factory safety systems is great as is the customisation Cobra will do, which I was not aware of before. I have blue stitching on my m3 seats and knowing Cobra can replicate that is a big plus.

Your seats look great in your car. Thanks very much for posting.

I wonder why this got relocated under cosmetic modifications. I feel like this is one of the most functional modifications

Awesome write up. These look like a great compliment to the QFP for a dual purpose car.

So you are happy with the comfort level both with and without a helmet on?

Mine are in an e46, so probably doesn't compare directly, but at 6'4 I have ~1.5" of free space above my helmet now

With the stock seats I had to recline to fit in the car with a helmet on.

We can also do paint to sample shells or Carbon, have the centers done in multiple materials i.e. Leather/Alcantara, all Alcantara, Walero centers which is crazy breathable, or there is even an option where you can provide the material after we tell you how much to get for those wanting to get crazy. There are 2 models of Nogaro's, ones with shoulder harness/ sub holes and one without any harness holes. If you guys have any questions I am working on getting mounting kits compiled together and they will be up on HMSmotorsport.com soon.

If you are wondering, Nogaros can fit all 3 series: e36 up to F8x mounting brackets to oem sliders.

review of an aftermarket seat on a 20 year old car and none M2. This is perhaps better suited for the off topic section. Isn't that what you would do if it was posted on M3F sign*
