Looking for shop recommendations? The only one I’m aware of is Euro Empire in Charlotte. Hoping to find a reputable shop closer to Northern VA.

Bimmer performance center in Raleigh is a shop I had good experiences with for my F30. May be worth checking if they have experience with the SMG swap. I’d be surprised if they didn’t

simpleM3 Did you ever find anyplace? I'm currently looking into it myself, also in NoVA.

GTPeace in chantilly said they do it. Haven’t had it done there but I’ve had a lot work done by them over the last few years. Mostly recently rod bearing and everything else that gets repaired during that job on the E46.

Not sure if OP is still looking, but just passing my experience.

I had Pat Z. Do my conversion (goes by smgto6mt on Insta). Based out of southern NJ, super detailed and transparent. I’ve had other local mechanics complement the work, saying it looks stock
