Yep, in 1973, I upgraded my 1970 firebird by imstalling a cassette player in the car. I guess times have changed, LOL

The only way to upgrade the B&W system is to use line convertors like the LC2i to add amps and speakers.


It inputs from the car speakers.


The components are held down to the carpet with Velcro so you don't have to drill any holes.

To do this you have to get to the amplifier in the driver rear 1/4 panel.



This car interior is very tightly put together so I would recommend going to a car stereo shop who have experience to get to this amp.
They would also know which speaker wires to tap into.
My car stereo shop tapped into the under seat subs for the Bass, and the door speakers for the Tweeters and Midranges.
