I know we have to stop with this bluegrass stuff, but this is a 'super band' like is on 'The Pizza Tapes".
"Fans of the Jerry Garcia bluegrass explorations will want to find this set, as it goes in many of the same musical areas, but with an intensity of invention far beyond the efforts of the grateful bluegrasser." w/ Clarence White Peter Rowan David Grisman John Kahn Richard Greene Bill Keith |

My favorite Crosby, Stills, & Nash song, by far. Written by Stephen Stills, most instruments played by him as well. Written for Judy Collins after a two year romance with Stephen Stills. She was leaving him for actor, Stacy Keach.

Someone posted a song by Stevie Wonder and reminded me how much I love this artist. Have listened to him all my life and can't believe I forgot about this great musician. That's another reason I like this thread. It makes me remember.
Here's a few of my favorite songs of his: |

We camped out up in the sticks this week, and brought Billie Strings "Home" with us as our featured CD. Since we were in the real country, the drive to our dinner restaurant took ~ 40 minutes, much of it on Scenic, curvy, BMW loving roads.
The "Home" cd is great. It isn't as raucous or pushy as some bluegrass, but the pickin' is excellent, steady, and just brings you in to it. I'll put "Home" on my home tube system to give a critical listen today, I hope! Thanks Mr. Hubba. |
