Not great. 5.75% off MSRP plus the $7,500 lease rebate. Houston is such a large market that every XM sells in a matter of weeks. I have been watching the inventory for a few months waiting for the 24s to coming in (newer head unit, iDrive 8.5, and Highway Assistant). The one in Davit Grey arrived just last week, but I do not really like that dealer and they weren’t very flexible.

In other news, I am working with another dealer on this XM Label that’s due to arrive soon. It’s not my favorite color choice, but Frozen Black Metallic looks good in the videos I have seen - like a very dark gray. This one does NOT have the red stripe on the outside.

No one has one yet. All existing XM Label orders start production this month. There’s at least 3 or 4 in Texas that are available to purchase; however none of the dealers want to give anything off MSRP yet. They all have estimated December delivery dates (assuming no stop sales or QC issues) and no one knows with the incentives are going to be at that point in time.

It will be awaiting game; however: I really want to lock one down before anyone has the chance to test drive it or the dealers put all their crappy add-ons that no one wants like paint, fabric, and dent protection. I would also prefer to put on my own window tint because I will put on what’s darker than legally allowed.

When I had the i3, I never put on the sticker.
It ruins the car IMHO.
I have seen LR, Porsche, and all nice cars running those stickers. Just don’t understand it. But, it is not my car, so whatever make them happy.

Too much work for Californian. Otherwise they have to get pay more and we gonna get more tax “to fix the road”.
Also, no way to do corruption.
With stickers, they can charge Sacramento for $100/piece while it only cost $2 to make.

After one complete week in my new XM Label, I’ve concluded that I absolutely love this thing. if my two previous BMWs (M550 + iX M60) had a child, this would be it. Not sure I could be any happier right now!

My guess is they placed a lot of dealer orders thinking they would be able to sell at a premium due to demand………… The rest is history

In the Houston market, every XM has sold in a matter of weeks since it’s inception. You might find one, possibly two, at most dealer lots. Some of them have none.

My best guess is the production queue in Spartanburg.
If that dealer is the bigger dealer, they will have multiple of same cars coming at one time.
Smaller dealer only gets single digit allocation.

Currently 66 in stock within a 100 mile range here in San Diego with another 30 inbound. Most dealerships have 3-5 vehicles. Not sure if BMW upped annual production or just shipped everything up front and will now let inventory dwindle, but they definitely placed a big bet here on a $160K+ SUV.
