S54 issue - AVANOS1-late valve

Hello all,

As of few days ago, I'm a proud owner of a Black 2001 Z3M with the S54 engine. I found a great deal last week and couldn't resist myself

I drove 750 miles from Virginia to Chicago, no issues. I plugged in the BT cable and unfortunately an issue was found - "AVANOS1-late valve". Can anyone chime in on this issue? Do I just need to adjust the valves? The motor runs strong, but it doesn't feel as fast as it should be - although I am a little biased because I also own a 400whp 335.

Any feedback would be much appreciated!

Anyone? The car has only 51k mi, the code # is 21.

Hello

This might be related with your Solenoid Pack

remove it and clean it with a magnet and brake clean, you should hear a click when its cleaned completely
