For Sale: 2001 BMW M3 Coupe 6MT

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 23,000.00

Item Interest
87,800 miles. 6 spd manual. Rebuilt title. Car was rebuilt after an incident under previous ownership. There was damage to the front right area of the car. It looks pretty good now, but there is still slight misalignment of the bumper, front right headlight, and front right quarter panel. The engine is in great shape, with low miles for an '01. Interior is good, but shows wear in some places. The only problem right now is the passenger window regulator, which was recently (professionally) replaced, but sounds bad and I don’t trust it not to fail again. It also has a brake pad wear sensor light lit – fronts pads are good with a new sensor, I have a sensor for the rear but need to check the pads first. Will update. I’m selling because I have three cars and it’s one too many right now. I am located in Ridgecrest, CA, and really don’t want to travel to sell the car.

I have done regular oil changes and other maintenance including:
- Oil changed in January (86,100 mi)
- Fuel pump replacement
- Gas cap replacement
- Recent brake fluid flush
- ABS speed sensor replacement
- Tires are Continental ExtremeContact Performance Summers with plenty of tread
- Shifter bushing replacement

Some spares I have on hand are:
- Manzo stainless steel axleback exhaust
- Front strut brace
- OE stereo head unit
- OE tail lights
- Aftermarket shift knob

Update: the brake pad warning light is gone, the issue was the rear wear sensor (part of it had been cut somehow and was missing). Replaced the sensor and now it's good to go. Front and rear pads looked totally fine with minimal wear.

Also, I'm willing to negotiate on price as the value of a salvage title is tricky.
