Can you even get Blackwings? Reservations of Canada were February last year and I thought they all sold.

The salesman said you can (there are allocations available), but you will have to wait about 6 months, and the car won't have all the equipment such as heated seats (will be installed later at the dealership), due to shortages. I didn't get into the pricing. And based on a comment from Nissan dealer the new Z in top-specs manual version will be CAD $57000 which makes it a hard sell for me, if the performance is not amazing.

I like the car a lot with the exception of the colors. Yellow, orange, blue don’t work for me. Call me conservative but I like the black, white, grey, silver. I’ve seen a couple of these available in other countries, will they be available in the US as well? Also, no to red

It's speculation like scalping a PS5 or a video card.

The supra had high initial demand but the supply could keep up and that demand went away. Not sure how the supply line of these will turn out, but likely to be slow deliveries with the current parts shortages. Also, a lower price point might increase demand a bit.

PS5 and iphone scalpers are far worse, hell friends (yes, multiple) of mine made a killing with the CTR LE. Though i really doubt this'd yield much to be fair.

Really continuing to lean toward the Z later this year, early next year.

I'm a bit disappointed on the weight side, but that's probably only 100lbs heavier than my previous '13 135i w/ECT. And it was still plenty fun. But anything I get now is very unlikely to be tracked regularly because of the time/money commitment it takes.

100% agree. Loved the 260Z/280Z. And I owned a 1990 300ZX Turbo. Absolutely adored that car, so much so that I put 330,000 miles on it.

But never warned up to the 350/370Z.

And this new Z, I'm struggling as well. The front end and even the general shape, it's just not alluring to me. The interior looks fine to me though.

But I'd like to see it in person before I make my final verdict.

Love the new Z. I'm almost 30 now and I realise how a 400hp sports car can be way more fun if you're just driving on the streets than a 600+ hp supercar. Not sure if anyone here is considering the new lotus but if you're not super obsessed with the mid engined layout this car is just as promising for a fraction of the price.

Just wish they'd make a convertible but I doubt they would. A 400hp 2 seat convertible with a manual transmission would be awesome. I know the Mustang and Camaro exist but the absence of rollover protection is disconcerting.

That is actually what I hated about the Z32 platform convertible. That HUGE rollover bar kept what SHOULD have been a beautiful vert from being.......well, beautiful. I owned 2 and wanted to pull the trigger on the vert, but I just could not get past the looks. What a great combo that would have been. The Z32 TT was a few hours on a sat afternoon away from 400 hp and with the driving experience to match.

That is one of my 2 great regrets on selling in my car owning life for sure.
