Our dogs have always been crate trained so I did not want them thinking the crate was a place to relieve themselves. With all out puppies, frequent walks outside with treats to reinforce that outside is where they go. Worked like a charm every time. But it is work, taking them out every hour as 7-8 week old puppies takes dedication.

Amazon has a bunch of different sized crates from Midwest that work well and decently priced. Kong makes a good one as well. Your local pet stores (eg PetCo) sell crates, too.

Terrible shave job by the vet in preparation for Bella's ultrasound. I'm sure she was fighting them every step of the way!

I will totally display my ignorance but you can trade in fish for newer models? How bad is the depreciation hit?

Oh you’ll be “up“ plenty for pee pee (hopefully just pee pee) emergencies early on, but worth it.

My son said he would also take the dog out at 3am, and well... he somewhat kept up with the promise. The problem was, he was such a heavy sleeper that he couldn't hear the dog crying, so I'd get out of bed at 3am just to wake him up to take the dog out!
In the end it was all worth it, and Finn luckily potty trained really fast, Good thing TXSTYLE is in nice and warm Texas. When we got Finn as a puppy it was the end of winter and freezing cold in Maryland! Also TX, make sure to socialize the puppy well. A lot of these Covid puppies are very sensitive and have separation anxiety and are reactive to other dogs/people.

Our first puppy in 18 years. Our last one was a German Shepherd. We went a little smaller with a whole lot less shedding this time.
