Good Morning. I currently own an F10 M5 6 speed and looking for a e46 for a daily. Am i crazy to want this instead of a Toyota Camry or similar? I keep going back to an e46 M3. Not to concerned about miles or showroom, however what are the typical I need to watch for with higher miles? Pretty much the only thing i know about is the strut brace reinforcement on these. Thanks.

If you can afford the insane maintenance, go for it.

Subframe Reinforcement
Vanos
New rear tires every 5k-ish
Everything else that comes with a 20 year old car. Cooling system, new clutch/fly, new alternator every 15 minutes etc etc etc

I've had absolutely everything go wrong with mine, often more than once. DM me if you have questions.
Having said that, I still own it and love every second of it. I get more excited every time I drive it now that it's a weekend type car.
