Thinking of posting on BAT

The car is an 06 manufactured in May of 2006; Alpine white, clean title, no paint work, cinnamon (pristine) interior, 36k miles, 6 speed manual, completely redone BBS wheels, Michelin Pilot Super sports, ESS 550hp Supercharger kit, KW V3, subframe reinforcement just completed, valve checked and need no attention. The car has been a garage queen and it sees no seasons in Southern California. Any thoughts on the price I should be aiming for? Also considering putting back to stock. TIA

I think you have a good shot at being accepted. But from what I've seen, over shoot the estimate and you're more likely to get in.

Just don't go EAG high. They're pricing is just wild!

Put car back to stock and sell the mods separately. You will end up getting more money for it.

If this was my car, I would want at least $40k if stock

I am considering it as we speak. I was thinking of leaving the BBS LM on the car since they were the early 2000's model and they go well with the car. I had them stripped completely and redone.

You can also trade the BBS LM for mint OEM ZCP/CSL+cash. A car completely stock will catch attention from collector on BAT.

I have the same BBS LM on my 2006 Estoril but if I ever list it on BAT I would sell it on OEM ZCP and sell LM separately.

At a minimum remove the supercharger. That's a negative for enthusiasts.

I agree with removing the SC and probably the LM's too, the last few SC'd e46s I've seen on BAT haven't done well. Also I'd just find some 19' OEM wheels for it, given the price of ZCPs.

Here's a recent comp from BAT

Just thinking from a buyer, I actually would want it stock and would see it as a negative with it being upgraded.

Not directed at you, but I can't validate how well the aftermarket parts are installed and I rather just do it myself or find someone I know to do the installation.

You will get far more with it being stock and selling your pets separately for someone who truly appreciates them

One last idea....I am toying with doing an OEM slick top upgrade with OEM headliner. Would that help the cause?

Probably not worth the cost and labor honestly to see a return on it.

Just another piece of input, The Driven Exchange has been doing similar. I've heard they are far more generous on reserves than BaT, so less risk for you if it doesn't sell. Might be worth getting a quote from them as well. $0 to list as well (assuming your car is accepted).

Pretty sure you're affiliated with the Driven Exchange.

How much should I bid on this supercharged low mile M3? https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1748864

Stop shilling or just be honest about what you're doing and why you're doing it.
