2001 coupe with 59k miles Manual

Clean looking record with lots of maintenance. I will be the 7th owner. Subframe done, rod bearings done etc

3 things that arent stock are suspension ( has original one), wheels and intake.

Owner wants $30k for it. What are your thoughts?

In 2016 for $28k, I bought a one owner 2005 IB ZCP manual with 52 K miles, super clean from San Diego totally stock with M-alcantara interior. My thoughts are wow these cars values have gone up a lot in just 5 short years.

That price sounds reasonable starting if it is super clean and maintained. If not $25k more reasonable.

7 owners is a bit much so check for a clean car fax and make sure it hasn't been driven in salty winter states and confirm clean undercarriage ie no rust underneath. PPI always a smart idea - leaky power steering and other small items can be present and cost you money and time to remedy.

Post some pics too. Best of luck.

BringaTrailer historical pricing is useful for tracking values. GL.

In today's market, it seems like a good deal.

I am looking at a clean 2005 6MT with 80k mileage single owner in the $35k range. You may be able to get a better deal if you keep hunting around, but there is always opportunity cost and my sense is even if you buying something "overvalued" by a few $, I think the intrinsic value will continue to appreciate for a well-maintained vehicle.

You left out two fairly important determining details, the color of both the interior and exterior. I can think of a couple combos where 30K is a steal and others where it may not be.
