Coding Help
My M3 should arrive at Winslow in a couple of weeks. ZCP Tanzanite Blue. Can anybody in Colorado Springs or Denver area help me code some features into the car in about a month or so? Happy to take you out to beers and/or lunch.
Thanks. |

I coded mine about 3 years ago, and haven't touched it since, so I'd offer to help, but I'm unsure of the current procedures. If you can't find anyone else, let me know

I'm in the Springs and could help if you have not got it done yet.

It's funny, I just had to recode my car today, as Winslow BMW updated the software (necessary, as they had to replace a headlight module), so now I am all up on coding.

I'd like to take a crack at coding as well. I ran through all of the instructions to do it, but a little worried I won't know what feature does what. I'm in Parker, CO. Maybe I can meet up with someone sometime that can provide some guidance on this! Thanks!

I should be able to help out most that need it, just send me a message. @Dave 90TT next time Winslow updates the car, let me know and I'll do my best to get everything restored prior to picking up your vehicle.

Either way, I'm not upset about it, it had to be done to fix the issue I had, and I have never had anything but stellar service at Winslow. Doing the recoding myself was easy, just had to remember how, since it had been 3 years since I initially coded my M. Plus, since they had to order in the part, it took a couple of days, and I got an an extended test drive of my loaner vehicle (3 nights), an X5, which we have been thinking of getting for my wife's next car.

Glare Free High Beam; the Euro coding for the adaptive lights is a must if you have the adaptive LEDs. Getting rid of the start-up warning and just some personal preference tweaks from there. Overall, I did about 20 items each on my M4 and X5 if I remember.

There's plenty of coding cheat sheets which tell you the commonly used values out there; just google e-sys F80 cheat sheet -Dave

I've been trying a number of different things with regard to the tip blink count in no success. I may just back date the FEM and then see if I'm able to code them once again. It's tough to make the time for that sort of thing these days. Especially when I only own an E90 and don't feel like experimenting on someone else's car, although stranger things have happened! I'll let you know if I find anything.

Not trying to hi jack a thread but I also just purchased my M3 from Winslow. Just looking for other M3 owners that are local in the spring area. Maybe we can arrange a meet up date and have couple beers since this is my first BMW, so I'm really new to all this F80 talk.

I have an M3 order coming in to Winslow soon. Any chance someon could help me code items into the car? I was told by the sales team that there are software changes at my break in service so should I wait until after that service?
