Not a huge deal on an otherwise stock car (becomes an issue more with more power mods), but the El Diablo muffler loses power vs stock.

I still have the silver ones but no I do not plan to take these satin ones off and put the other back in.
These were just installed along with the fender grill's in the last 10 months or so so they're brand new. I prefer the satin black

I'm 50/50. The plan is to sell it next year so it's probably best to not dump a bunch of money into it unless it's going to help with the sale (maintenance, big 3 etc.)
But who knows I might do something to have a bit of fun before letting it go

Absolutely beautiful build! Currently driving an F82 but will be looking for an E46 next year and starting to do some research.
Loved going through your thread OP, makes me more excited about going this route. |

Update!
Went ahead and reinforced the subframe preventively. I was able to get a pretty competitive price on it so it was hard to pass up. Also knowing this will help with the sale eventually when it's time was a huge added value Bimmerworld extended version with more coverage:

Forgot to mention that while they were in there I also had them install Powerflex PF5K-1006 kit and wrapped it up with an alignment.
As well as a fresh oil change and a sample of oil to send off to Blackstone for routine analysis 👌🏽

Hey, beautiful car! I have almost the same thing (2005 TiSilver/Blk 34k) also with Autosolutions shifter but Bilstein PSS10 coil overs. Glad to see these old M3’s still getting some love. Mine has been neglected and not getting more than a few drives a year since Covid. Looking forward to getting it out in the spring though for some nice drives!
