Oct 02nd: Production Begins Oct 12th: Entering Assembly Line Oct 13th: Quality Check Oct 14th: Awaiting Carrier Assignment Oct 15th: Dispatched From Factory Oct 20th: In Transit (but this is wrong) Sometime around Oct 26th I believe it was in Kansas City and switched from Norfolk Southern to BNSF ... and I've been told in the next week or so it'll be at the VPC sooo ... It's definitely not "in transit" to the dealer, so that's wrong & I'm not sure why it skipped all of other statuses ... Anyway, the first part seems to match your timeline, but getting the west coast is taking quite awhile ... and there seems to be some delays / hitches in the system ... |

Up close, it's got a ton of detail: Not everyone's cup o' tea, but I like it ... so anyway, hoping the grey finegrain ash doesn't suck ... if so I'll probably swap it out. Also I"m trying to figure out the PPF situation ... given past experiences with just rinseless washes normally I'd skip it, but this car will get a lot of highway road trip miles so I'm thinking of maybe doing the front bumper, and maybe hood, just to help with bugs (most of the F95's front end is pretty exposed!). Also was considering tint, but 2 different installers said to do it right they have to take off the door panels and ... eeehhhhh ... I think I'll hold off on that for now. how about you?

I’m with you on CF being way overplayed but didn’t like the high gloss on the wood so just gave up and got it. Could use some better trim options for the current gen M Cars. You definitely need to get the reflector blanking plates and spacers. I’m in the minority but think you can get a decent respray for the price of a wrap. I was too impatient to do it when I got the car anyway. Looking forward to pics! |

Totally agree on the wrap & respray ... though I've found someone locally who'll do the bumper with Xpel for $600 so considering it ... |
