I don't really see the point of this question.
Completely different cars. I could have had a new M3 or a slightly used 911 for the price of the Z4 and chose the Z4 because for that price I got the looks and the open top and still more performance than can be used safely on U.S. roads and without ending up in the county jail. My goal is to own a 911 convertible some day (best of both worlds) but buying a vacation house is higher on my to-do list at that point in my life...

Chill dude, I'm just joking. Sucks for us since Canadian car prices are higher even though we're near parity w/ the greenback. You guys get more bang for your buck.
