Feeler: 2005 Silver Grey on Black (Slicktop, 6MT, 'Stripper')
In an odd series of events, I have stumbled across my dream color E46 (Oxford Green)—which puts me in a position to sell what I previously believed to be my ‘grail’ spec E46, after giving up looking for an Oxford car. I’m still on the fence about selling this car, but it would be the reasonable thing to do. I am the third owner. The first owner was a woman in San Diego, she spec’d the car new—I have the original sales slip with her name on it. I purchased the car from a gentleman in LA, likeminded enthusiast, who had to sell the car because of a physical ailment that prevented him from comfortably driving stick. The car has only lived in California its entire life, and for the vast majority of its life, the car has lived in a garage. ~112,000 miles This car has zero factory options apart from 19” wheels, and electric seats, which entails the following; - Slicktop - Factory 6MT - No headlight washers - No PDC sensors - No roof antenna - Halogen headlights Aesthetically, this is the cleanest/slickest E46 you could’ve configured new, in the CSL color to boot. Absolutely zero modifications. Exterior is just about flawless, 2-3 minor rock chips, no scratches, no dents. Interior is just about flawless, no sagging headliner/A, B & C-pillar trim, no adverse wear on the leather, etc. Runs and drives great with no issues, no codes, no speaks or rattles. The car feels like a time warp back to ‘05, it’s pretty cool having never owned a completely stock M3 before in such solid condition. Clean title and CarFax report, baring a minor damage report from the gentleman I purchased the car from. Someone bumped into the car’s driver side fender in a parking lot. This person didn’t have insurance, so the guy I purchased the car from called the police and filed a police report. This police report led to the damage report on CarFax. I have pictures from the incident. Luckily, the fender was able to be PDR’d with no paint work required. This car maintains its original paint - paint meters welcome! Service log/records from new, in a binder, including the original window sticker and sales slip. Complete tool kit, and owner’s manual. Standard maintenance done, oil changes every 3-5,000 miles. No big 3, will leave this up to the next owner if so desired. I was going to have Kevin/‘Kaiv’ do the rod bearings and call it a day. PDI’s welcomed. $25,450, located in SoCal. More pictures available upon request. Last edited by 911r; 05-03-2025 at 09:50 AM.. |

I personally love the simplicity of the halogens. Xenon’s are an easy/cheap retrofit however…plug and play from my understanding, just need to have the car coded afterwards. |
