Should I replace brakes/tires before selling E46 M3?

I just bought a used 2008 M3 and I will be selling my original owner 2002 E46 M3 w/ 83K miles. The 2002 M3 has only about 1000 miles left on the front brake pads and rear tires. Would I recoupe the money spent if I had new front brake-pads/rotors installed and new rear tires? That will cost me about $1000 and I'm thinking I won't get anymore for the car if I do it. What do you guys think?

i dont think you'd get "more" for the car...
but it would probably facilitate the sale, and save some bit**ing / begging from the buyer (which would be 100% justified)...
a potential buyer might say "install new pads / tires or give me a break on the price"... if it's already done, i think you cam be firmer on your price...
just my 2 cents though
