Swift springs installed!
Ive finally pulled the trigger on a set of Swift Spec R lowering springs for my e92 Jerez black M3. Im very happy with the look and handling so far. I was worried the claimed 1"front and .7" rear drop wouldn't be enough. But when the car was pulled out from AutoCouture Motoring I was very surprised and happy with the look. Everyone at AutoCouture was very nice and helpful. Also very professional and knowledgeable. The nearly 2 hour drive was well worth it. Thank you Matt and everyone at AutoCouture Motoring. Here are a few photos. Sorry for the bad quality.

Haha ya the second photo was bad. My phone wouldn't zoom correctly to take a clear photo. It kinda looks like I was taking the photo through a sock. lol Sorry for the poor quality photos. Just giving a bit of an idea what it looks like. Im happy with the results.

Haha, your correct. But I thought I had a phone with an above average camera. LOL I have the HTC ONE which supposedly has a very high quality camera. Maybe I was just shaking in need of a beer after a Friday night? lol

Honestly I cant tell much difference between the Swift and OEM springs. I also have EDC so I can adjust the stiffness. I haven't had a chance to get a good feel since I had the springs installed yesterday. But for the nearly 2 hour drive home, the care seemed very close to stock. Possibly a bit stiffer, but nothing too dramatic. When the car came out of the shop I didn't expect much height difference. Swift claims 1" front and .7" rear. Which seems correct, but visually the car looks lower to me. But that's a good thing. At this point Im totally loving the stance and wouldn't change my decision for using Swift springs. Ill get some more photos tomorrow for you. Also, for $298 shipped, these are a steal.

Pictures definitely don't do justice. The drop is perfect in person and it handles great

Pics are definitely crappy. Ill get better photos. I was just in a rush and took a few quick photos. But Im very happy with the drop. As far as alignment goes, some people suggest alignment some say not necessary. Whats everyones opinion here? Is an alignment needed or a waste of money?

Thank you for your advice. I was thinking I needed an alignment but thought Id get a few opinions. Some people seem to have no tire wear without alignment. But others seem to have serious tire wear without alignment. I was told to wait 2 weeks for the springs to settle, sound good?

I don't think an alignment is necessary. I haven't done it and drove over 30000 miles on the tires, still good

I was told Id need an alignment. But it seems people sometimes have no issues without an alignment. I guess its just piece of mind to make sure theres no tire wear.

That's what I meant I apologize. Two weeks after getting the springs installed they suggested an alignment. Some people say its unnecessary , but same some alignment is needed. I just wanted opinions.
