Anyone tried to Drag Race Your M2?

It seem this M2s attract other car enthusiast to drag race you. While I had my M2, I had a good share of american muscle cars owners wanting me to race me at traffic lights. For the most part I won most races against stick mustangs and Challengers.

What have been your experiences so far?

I get more drag requests in M2 vs my e46m3. The night I installed my DP had some guy in what looked like v8 Benz do a few pulls. Let’s just say the surprised look on his face was priceless. Haha.

What are you making to the wheels? 400-410? How does the power delivery feels after the mods?

Give or take 400 ish, depends on conditions, sometimes I change to E85 map depending how I'm feeling that day.

Hm, irs pretty good, its smooth. I didnt want it to be too balls to the wall and i wanted power delivery close to stock.

Stock DCT here. W204 C63 , 40 roll, his headlight was at my exhaust tips at 120 ; X5M E70 , 60 roll, X5 was behind about a full car length in between us at 120. All drag contests done at the track at a legal and safe environment.

For those with 6MT what RPM range do you find best launching the car at? Also for the DCT what is the RPM launch control at and can you adjust it?

I pulled on C63 multiple times... sometimes we are even but i never was behind.... now if we were to take it over 120 im sure the C63 will take me.... C63 pulls very hard at 130 140
