Sound system set-ups?

Hey there all!

As a few of you know, I am in the car stereo business, and I own wholesale car stereo on eBay, and around.

I was wondering if anyone has a nice set up built up in their trunks or within the car itself, speaker swap? sup addition? custom enclosures? sub swap? ghetto or fab. Just post pics!

Might want to look at E90post for more systems.

I think the guys at E90 are more into the stereo's.
A popular upgrade there is to change out the under seat subs with 8" shallow SWS subs and add an aftermarket amp. Minimal weight gain with minimal/no loss of trunk space.

The stock sound system is pretty pathetic, but I mostly listen to talk/sports radio now.

Yea, I'm about to install those on mine when i get a chance, I've sold a few but never had a chance to hear them.

The system is great compared to MBZ. My dads S550 is so boring, if you set the EQ properly, not just the Bass and Treble it sounds good...

you have an M3. don't you want to hear the sound of the engine more. I would much rather buy an aftermarket exhaust w/ a Dinan air intake.

I have a lot of conflicts with myself about this. I end up turning down the music most the time.. lol

You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
