Supercharger and Emissions in New York
I am looking at purchasing an e46M that has a supercharger on it. The car is in a state that does not have emissions testing, and my concern is that it cannot pass inspection. I've emailed local tuners and the company that manufacture the kit, and get a short response of "it does not pass emission" but kind of feel like they just say that to legally cover themselves.
Anyone have knowledge of sensor readiness and tunes for superchargers that have insight on the situation. Would hate to purchase a paperweight.
